I am an ecologist with a broad interest in terrestrial ecosystem processes, in particular how anthropogenic impacts influence these processes. I am currently working on understanding impacts of rising arctic temperatures on the C balance of arctic ecosystems. I have also studied the role of exotic invasive species in the trajectory of ecosystem recovery after disturbances and identifying management methods to enhance and/or speedup ecosystem recovery.
